A large charity event at St Edward’s Ball raised funds for St Thomas church. Mrs G Barker chaired the Jedies team with twenty bridge and five hundred tables. Prizes went to Mrs P G Wood Mrs A H Mahic and Mrs Arthur Cosegrave for bridge. Mary Murray won for five Infadred. Miss Emily Fahy led decor with Miss Amelia Tryon and Percy Clark performing. Myra Duncombe accompanied and selections pleased attendees.
