CAHS Environmental Club Plans Beautification Drive

Corry Area High School Environmental Club will launch a beautification program Saturday with tree and shrub plantings at the flagpole, front bulletin board planter, and courtyards. English teacher Keith Hillkirk and student leader Brian Huelat outlined the plan at a board meeting. Four Injured As Log Truck Collides With Two Cars

State police investigated a three-vehicle crash on Route inside Hydetown Borough injuring four people. Abe L. Hathaway and wife Elizabeth of Titusville were in serious condition at Titusville Hospital. Log truck driver Randall Atkins and car driver Guy Foltz were admitted for observation. The southbound log truck crossed the center line and hit the Hathaway car, which was then struck by Foltz’s vehicle. Hathaway was trapped for about an hour and freed by Titusville volunteers using hydraulic tools. The incident remains under investigation.
