New York May 5 Ex convict Morris Mardavich 28 charged with homicide in the slaying of advertising executive Harry V Maxwell 41 outside a bateau club setting. Maxwell shot as the pair left with a model Mary Jane Cassidy 24. The incident followed Maxwell’s appearance with a large roll of cash. Cassidy led police to the scene and later drove Maxwell to his apartment before realizing he was dead. An autopsy found a .22 caliber bullet in Maxwell's heart.
Mayor Frank B Heiner Chief John D Flanigan and Ross Mead will meet police in Warren this afternoon to seek information on parking meter problems.
