Funeral services for Mrs Clara Simmons Smith wife of Turley Smith were held yesterday afternoon with prayers at the home on West Golimbus Avenue at 2 oclock followed by funeral at the church at 3 oclock Rev OM McIntyre pastor of the United Brethren Church presiding. Many friends and relatives attended. The music was by the church choir and interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Maral the secretary of the Wor ry Motor Club announced membership totals reached 112, with over sixty new members joining in ten weeks. He cited citywide support for the club’s work and citywide evidence of impact as a sign of progress. Morah plans to attend the State Moderation meeting in Philadelphia on May 8 and expects the summary meeting to follow.
The Salvation Army held a Dedication ceremony at the army citadel last evening with Merle Lynn King, son of Dallas, being dedicated to God and the Army as a cradle roll member.
