Conscience money arrives as IRS sees anonymous gifts
In Dallas AP reports James Golden of the IRS notes anonymous taxpayers send “conscience money” for tax cheating. Five $100 bills and an unsigned letter claim loss of sleep over cheating, with promise of more. Separately the Lutheran World Federation says relief supplies worth about $124 million were shipped to 73 countries in 1971 from Geneva programs.
