Harborcreek Plans Two New Taxes for Operating Funds
Harborcreek School District will levy two new taxes to raise operating funds. A $5 per capita tax on residents over 21 and a $2 per month house trailer tax are projected to yield about 24 180 and 1 680 respectively in the upcoming fiscal year. The school board will consider both tax resolutions at a May 13 meeting in the high school. Local officials note confusion over whether the township or school board enacts the per capita tax.
