A Union City man injured when his motorcycle crashed on the highway east of Spring Creek Sunday April 28 remains in critical condition at Corry Hospital. Meade King never regained consciousness. Mrs Measle, who rode with him and was injured, left the hospital April 29 and returned home to Tinton City.

Bricker of Ohio remains a top challenger, with Brewster and Stassen cited among possible backing blocs. Dewey’s primary gains tighten the contest for delegates toward the convention.
Major James Stewart was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for leadership in the February 20 raid on Navi aircraft factories at Brunswick Germany.
