Meadville plans a five day sesquicentennial observance from May 8 to May 12 with a Westinghouse band concert, historical pilgrimages and dedications, a pageant, military displays, a parade with 30 floral floats, drum and bugle corps contests, a fireworks show, and a grand ball headlined by Russ Morgan and his orchestra.
