Frank Losey Band Leader Dies at 58 in Erie
Death notice reported Frank H. Losey 58 of Erie former Corry resident died at his home 719 Cherry Street Sunday morning. A renowned bandmaster and composer he led bands in Corry and nearby towns. Survived by his wife and one daughter Mrs Pensket. Funeral at Burton Funeral Home Tuesday 2:30 PM. Losey long served as musical adviser to Edison in earlier years. He conducted a studio on State Street in Erie in recent years.

Corry Parties Hurt In Crash West Of Union City
A hit and run spree west of Union City injures two Corry residents and causes several near misses Sunday. Martin Ward, six, and Mids Anna Kovalchik were hurt as their ride in a car driven by J. R. Connley of Erie veered off the highway after another vehicle attempted to pass a stalled car. Connley’s auto rolled over a bank, all wheels in the air, and Ward received a cut above the eye while Kovalchik was injured and sent home. An investigation by State Highway Patrolmen continues with Homer Thrash of Meadville and another unidentified driver linked to the crash.

Youths Plead Guilty in Local Burglary Cases
Several Corry youths charged with breaking and entering and receiving stolen goods pleaded guilty before Judge William Hirl in Gretz. Roach and Harmon had sentences suspended until September term.
