Mentor Club Closes Year With Dinner and Awards
The Mentor Club at the Macadam Hill home held its final meeting of the year with a 6 30 dinner. Contests organized by Miss Louise Williams and Miss Ann Baressi followed. Awards went to Mrs Harley Johnson Miss Lillian Barnes Mrs William Gumbleton and Mrs William Myers. A gift to retiring president Mrs EO Baynes and another to Mrs Porter Auer were presented. Mrs Bates presided as Miss Baressi was elected president with Mrs Johnson vice president Miss Barnes secretary and Mrs Edwin Schneider treasurer. A social period featured slides by Mrs Gilbert Boyd about the Hillstrom summer home and the Boyds western trip. The club plans a picnic in August and regular meetings resume October 3.

Car Demolished In Wreck On Route 6 Warren
A car owned by John D. Wigan of Clymer, Indians County, Pa., was demolished when it skidded from Route 6 into a culvert east of Warren Sunday. The operator said a sudden stop behind a preceding car caused the slide. occupants escaped with no serious injuries.
