Bill Proposed to Pay Counties Tax Revenues Nationwide
congressional proposal would compensate Warren Allegheny and three other counties with 584 028 dollars from federal funds to cover lost tax revenues from lands acquired by the government for reforestation. The plan by Representative Carmen includes Allegheny National Forest lands and cites a 726 9101 gross value for the four county area with 438 121 acres already in federal ownership.

Open Special Meetings Here at Salvation Army Hall Tonight
Two weeks of special meetings begin this evening at the Salvation Army hall led by Capt Ada Winton and visiting officers Major and Mrs Syirtentrubss from Titusville. They will show pictures from Army activities across the United States and England. The public is invited to attend and hear the speakers. An elevator incident at the local tenant building is noted with a separate line about a five year upsurge in a company dispute.
