Erie Man Seeks Return Of Engagement Rings In County Court
In Meadville a man seeks legal action over a romance ending with the suspected loss or transfer of two rings valued at 1000 dollars. Ben Stiven claims the rings were to pass to his ex fiancée Michalena Flumio only upon marriage, but the engagement broke and the matter now heads to county court. Meanwhile, Donald Cervone, son of Mr and Mrs Samuel D Cervone, tours with an Army Chorus group, serving as assistant director and helping arrange music after attending Allegheny College and the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music. Reports also say Millcreek and State Police investigate a possible in-state mob robbery of about five thousand dollars from the Canteen Service Company, with safes, coins, and vending-machine cash stolen. The Cootlight Club No 102 will meet Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the Garden Room of the VFW Post. W Metcalf will speak on public health education at 4:30 pm, inviting the public. The Harbor Half Ladies Aid plans a Thursday meeting at the home of Arthur and Mrs Lindstrom with a dinner at 1 pm.
