Paragram from April News and City Updates
A chaotic jumble of notes covers an April sale, a City Council meeting, and police activity. Claude Price asked police aid in locating the driver of a car that crashed into a parked vehicle on West Washington near the Ajax plant, with a passerby later providing the offender’s license plate number. In a separate item a bill proposes marking a driver’s record by license card color. Also noted: a 17-jewel Gruen watch theft, state employment service placing 1,500 people, a Corry marriage license filing, Riverside Hotel reopening, a flu-related school closure, and various local juror announcements plus legislative and transportation updates.
