Alvin Percy Kline, 48, of Fairview, was sentenced to one to two years in the Western penitentiary by President Judge Miles B. Kitts. He was paroled to Probation Officer Harold Dundon and Glenn Manchester of Fairview. Kline pled guilty to breaking into George Garver’s home around January 28, 1939 and stealing goods worth $28.24. The act was his first offense. Manchester will again employ him. Judge Kitts warned any further criminal tendency would bring severe punishment.
