Rights Workers Seek To Have Ala Governor Impeached
Civil rights leaders plan to begin an impeachment drive against Governor George Wallace by mid April and expand protests across Alabama including Birmingham Mobile and Selma. Rev James Bevel says a 30 day boycott and handbill campaign will back the effort as organizers push to force Wallace from office amid mounting demonstrations and a potential state House impeachment vote.
