Driver Loses Appeal Over License Suspension
Erie resident Gene E. Reynolds lost his appeal of a driver's license suspension Saturday before Judge Samuel J. Roberts. The judge ruled driving 75 to 80 mph excessive and noted Pennsylvania practice of revoking licenses for speeding above 70 mph without aggravating factors. Reynolds faces a 90 day suspension based on testimony of being clocked between 75 and 80 mph by a state policeman and a court precedent.
