BELLEFONTE Pa Mar 27 Two Lawrence county convicts Leslie McNeil and Frans Reusch escaped Rockview by climbing over the stockade last night while on exercise. Bloodhounds followed their trail to the state yard as officers investigated their conduct. McNeil is serving 2 to 4 years for breaking and entering. Rausch 2 to 3 years on the same charge. Officials believe they acted as partners.

In Erie Pennsylvania March 27 two truckmen died from asphyxiation in a cab while hauling miscellaneous freight for Midwest Hauling Co from Buffalo to Cleveland. Identified were John B. Miller 55 truck owner and Guy G. McBeth 37 driver, both of Rouge Bilgerville. The motor still ran when found.
