Explosion at Warren Fatal Today
George W. Rulrd of Warren was fatally injured this morning when a blow torch ignited a fuel pipe at a Standard Auto Shop on Market Street. Rulrd died at 2:40 this afternoon. Local officials said the explosion tore clothing and damaged a nearby garage as emergency workers rushed him to hospital. The Blanchard Kilrage plant is owned by W. Ada of the Yleum. Another incident: Neal Foley, on West Pleasant, suffered a seizure and fell on the lypot platform, bleeding from the nose and head. he was treated and released with no permanent injury.
