State Street Heights Promises Boost as Streetcars Expand
The property lies within city limits with two trolley lines nearby and State Street to be extended 100 feet to the city line. An ordinance passed April 2 1910 will lay out the street. B L E Traction promises to run a line from 8th and State Street to the city side within five years, possibly sooner. Property values on State Street Heights are expected to double after improvements. Erie buyers target Lake Erie cottages near Dunkirk and Green ville sales beginning May 1 and April 15 respectively, prompting a quick State Street Heights closeout.
