Government May Take Bigger Role in Wage and Policy Debate
Kennedy urged advisers to provide direction for the general movement of wage and price policy and to offer help on jobs and recruitment, machine displacement, and foreign competition. The group, including Henry Ford, George Meany, and Ralph McGill, planned monthly meetings at the White House with study between sessions.
