Rick Hammond former Corry resident and Edinboro State College graduate becomes head basketball coach at Ripley Central High School New York. He led a Division III Chautauqua County girls squad to a championship and previously coached junior varsity for four years. Hammond succeeds Jeff Bucholtz as Ripley reaches Section VI NY state playoffs and a 63 54 season opening win over Ellicottville before a semifinal exit to Limestone.
