PSP Trio Tried For Wiretaps
The court martial for three state troopers opened in Hershey Pennsylvania with Lt Steven Luchansky seeking severance due to his civilian attorney being unavailable. Cpl Metro Kardash and Curtis Cuyette pressed to proceed without severance as the trial spans alleged wiretapping of fellow troopers at the George Washington Motor Lodge in King of Prussia last November. The troopers operated in a unit under former State Police Commissioner Rocco Parella and Atty General J. Shane Creamer. Gov Milton Shapp dismissed Parella and Creamer in January. Witness testimony loomed as a House committee prepared for dramatic statements.
