Eighties members of Boy Scout Troop III with chaperones James Reed Rod Ormsbee and Tom Easttean enjoyed an intercamp at Camp Caismen. They earned first and second class first aid and compass badges amid games and snowball fights as 1964 members attended. The meeting in the high school reported 77.86 in the playground fund. The 1965 officers were introduced by a nominating committee, with president yet to be filled. A PTA basketball game and adult association program were noted. The St Patrick smorgasbord by Our Lady of Victory Guild drew over 300 dinners in the Grange hall with Cub Scouts making shamrocks. Firemen’s auxiliary dues and new member invites were announced. A 50th wedding anniversary open house for Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith was scheduled. Evangelistic meetings at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church will feature Rev. Paul Alford.
