Blame Youth For Car Death In Erie County Inquest
An Erie coroner jury found teenage driver Richard Groger 17 of Erie guilty of reckless and careless driving in the death of Edward Kaminski 17, a passenger in Groger’s car, after an inquest at the county courthouse. Witnesses said Groger had raced another car and then lost control on Route 97 in Summit Township, skidding the vehicle into a tree and overturning. Coroner W. W. Wood ordered the inquest into the November 25 crash and Groger’s condition afterward.
