Erie March 17 Assistant District Attorney Burlin Laub resumed duties after illness and said he will oppose a plea for pardon by George Wing of Corry who is serving life for the fatal shooting of his two year old nephew, George Ormsbee. Wing's petition will be heard by the State Board of Pardons in Pittsburgh on March 23. a prior plea was rejected two years ago. Wing testified he was hunting when the child screamed and a shot struck the boy.
