The Association of American Railroads said 620,997 revenue freight cars were loaded in the week ending last Saturday, down 13,413 from the prior week but up 1,257 from a year ago. March 15 report from Lane details Kane Burgess and two other students injured in separate incidents. Burgess suffered a broken left leg after slipping on ice at home steps and was hospitalized resting comfortably. A schoolmate, Ratty Mayes, sustained jaw and facial injuries. Two men, Davis and Jones, received burns from a grease incident at a nearby well and were treated at Community Hospital.
