Infant killed as bassinet topples in auto crash
In Johnstown a bassinet toppled from the rear seat of a parked car last night fatally injuring 7 week old Douglas Barr, son of Mr and Mrs Samuel Barr of Cleveland. The child was left in the bassinet momentarily while the parents entered a nearby Beaverdale home to fetch another child.

Youths in Pittsburgh Framed Over Abduction Case
Two 19-year-olds Edward Bujalski and Theodore Popinski and Henry Bujalski, 33, all of Pittsburgh, are jailed on charges of abducting two sisters. Edward and Theodore face statutory rape sodomy and aggravated assault while Edward also faces attempted rape and carrying a blackjack. Henry is charged with accessory before the fact. The trio allegedly forced the sisters into a car. a 16-year-old was attacked after a brief, with the 21-year-old sister escaping. The sisters remain unnamed.
