City misses grant in first land and water fund allocations
In Our Opinion the city of Corry trails peers for failing to secure a share of Pennsylvania's 500 million land and water conservation fund. Warren will gain 86 290 toward a 950 127 project with year round use and a multi purpose building while Waterford receives 7374 toward a five acre Lake LeBoeuf shore park. Corry faces a split recreation program with no clear plan and tax funded bonds for any broadened effort. The editorial urges the City Council and School Board to cooperate promptly on a community asset expansion.
