Area Man, 75, Serious After Hit By Car
Titusville man Wesley L. Bills about 75 was struck on Route 27 near Miller's Rollerdrome around 10 pm and severely injured with possible skull fracture and multiple wounds. The driver, Keith A. Anthony of Pleasantville, said Bills wore dark clothing and could not be seen. Anthony's car sustained about 150 damage. Bills is known for daily walks between his home in the Enterprise area and Titusville.

New Bishop Will Visit Here In Diocese Tours
Eric Bishop John F. Whealon, installed as Erie’s sixth bishop in 114 years, said he would not be happy until visiting every parish in the 12 county diocese. He announced his first public act may be a dispensation from fasting for St Patrick’s Day and plans regional high school receptions after Easter to meet many of the diocese’s 200000 parishioners. Union City Livestock report lists sale prices for hogs, sows, cows, veal calves, and lambs for Thursday’s sale.
