28 Crewmen Of Tanker Rescued
The Coast Guard said 28 crew members of the Liberian tanker Angy were rescued after an explosion and fire left eight missing. A Wilerman Steamship freighter, the Claiborne, picked up the survivors about 400 miles south of St John’s.
