Over ninety five members from St Elizabeth and St Thomas parishes attended a Day of Recollection at St Elizabeth Parish Center. Activities included penance sermons the Good Samaritan and Eucharist led by Rev John S Lynch. A blest medal was given to each attendee followed by mass and a gala toast beef dinner with parish leaders speaking and celebrating birthday honorees.

Corry Moose Women Win Top Honor at Mid year Meet
A bus carried 31 Women of the Moose from Corry Chapter 717 to Pittsburgh for the WOTM mid year conference coinciding with the Pennsylvania State Moose Association Convention at Chatham Center. Deputy grand regent Rose Cortez of Ellwood City led the party and Kay Cancie of Mooseheart attended as official visitor grand chancellor. Corry chapter earned top honors among five chapters. Hilltop Chapter welcomed attendees and Gertrude McCray of Corry gave the response. Sunday activities included a Corry enrollment ritual led by Wilma Vanssens. forty chapters registered and plans were set for June 7 at Mooseheart for College of Regents degrees.
