Death from injuries at Haniel Clarke plant
Dee Rath aged 52 of Beaverdam died at Corry hospital after an injury at the Clark plant where a fall from a rafter caused a brain concussion and a left shoulder blade fracture. Complications from the injuries led to pneumonia and death at Olejock yesterday afternoon. Parents Irvin and Mrs Rath of Beaverdam survive along with a half sister, Mrs Parker of Tinion City. Burial plans followed in Union City.

P R R Station Threatened by Chimney Fire
Timely discovery of a chimney fire at the Pennsylvania Railroad freight station Friday night prevented heavy damage.
