Open Senate Meetings Draw Few Attendees Despite Access

A reader responds to a recent editorial praising the Pennsylvania House and criticizing the Senate. The letter notes open Senate committees and caucus interviews, but reports low attendance: two Law and Order meetings had only members present, Judiciary saw three lobbyists and a senator's daughter, while Education drew 8-10 lobbyists and limited media. It argues few citizens leverage the open meetings despite controversial topics.
