Judge Won’t Soften Up On Driver

In Warren County court Judge Samuel Bonavita refused leniency for Terry Littlefield of Sheffield after a prior record. Littlefield was sentenced to three to six months in Warren County Jail for driving with a suspended license and ordered to pay costs, with no weekend-sentence concession. He argued for weekend confinement to care for his wife and baby. The judge noted the suspension stemmed from involuntary manslaughter convictions in a fatal crash and said he should have considered that before driving.
