Wilcox Men Survive 125 Foot Bank Plunge
Four men from Wilcox suffered injuries when a Ford car driven by Oscar Nelson went off a 125 foot embankment near Sect. The vehicle tumbled, hit a sapling to stop, and was demolished. Nelson sustained cuts and bruises. the other three were uninjured or less harmed. All worked at Johnsonburg mill.

Fall Fatalities Reported In Warren Construction Accident
A worker, Peter S. Lock, aged from Warren, fell from a scaffold atop a steel water tank near the Penna Railroad roundhouse in Warren. He is in critical condition at Kane Summit Hospital with slight hope for recovery. The injury occurred about 3:00 PM Thursday when the top fastenings gave way during a lifting, leaving Lock’s son and another man unhurt on the scaffold.
