Police said about $300 was taken from a cigar box in a Cochranton home belonging to Paul J. Kennedy between Nov. 14 and yesterday. A second $300 was left in the box. The area incident was reported by Pennsylvania State Police yesterday.
Michael Fava office manager for the Corry district of Pennsylvania Electric Company was elected president of the Corry Area Jaycees succeeding Robert Grice after an active campaign. The general meeting at Perry's Inn elected Charles Bonavita internal vice president William Wilt external vice president John Middleton secretary Jack Nason treasurer and directors Larry Dempsey Steve Welch Art Perkins Bob Johnston. Edward Standley Warren Jaycees state vice president noted this was the most active election he had seen.
