Floods Major Eastern Threat

Floods and heavy rainfall pushed rivers higher across Ohio and western Pennsylvania. In Ohio, Bourneville saw over 2 inches while Akron topped 1 inch in 24 hours. Creeks rose, roads closed, and Marianna and Cecil Township faced isolation with evacuations. Indiana rivers remained above flood stage with wagon roads flooded and rural routes washed out. Colder air followed heavy snow, bringing subzero readings to parts of Wyoming.
