Jamestown Woman Injured by Auto
Jamestown March 5 Miss Mary Pickles 73 of 5 Appleyard Place was struck by an automobile yesterday morning. She was listed in fair condition today with an adjustable fracture of the shin. The accident happened at Main and some streets at 11 30 o clock as Miss Pickles crossed the street. The automobile was driven by Reynold Carlson 22 of 123 Prospect Street who told police he crossed the street intersection without a green signal and struck the woman about ten feet north of the crosswalk.

Girl May Lose Arm After Auto Crash
In Heir, Mar 3, 14 year old Genevieve Poniatowski of 530 1 3rd St is seriously injured after an auto crash on the TE Lake road near Bix Creek. Doctors strive to save her right arm as it may be lost from severe hand tearing. She also has a compound fracture to the right arm and a fractured jaw. Another victim, Paul Ales, 19, of 319 12 3rd St, remains in Hamob hospital with a fractured right arm. The couple were riding in a Nimble seat auto that struck mailboxes, toppled the car and plunged 20 feet down an embankment.
