Three Corry Musicians Get State Band Credentials
Three Corry Area High School Wind Ensemble members Bill Brink Jim Downey and Ron Morgan will join Region I State Band events at Williamsport High School March 18 to 20. Guest conductor Arnald Gabriel leads the United States Air Force Band. students qualified by district competition in Oil City in January under Ronald Bairie.

Miss Cathy Craker daughter of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Craker of 247 York Street Corry earned a place on the Wells College fall term dean's list in Aurora New York a liberal arts college for women in the Finger Lakes region. The World Day of Prayer will be observed Friday with services at Beaverdam Mennonite Church Route 89 north of Route 6 in Beaverdam beginning at 10 a.m. followed by lunch and an afternoon service.

North Hills Ladies Meet Plans For 1960s Golf League
Members of the North Hills Ladies Golf League met at the Moose Lodge Colonial Room with two attendees. They reviewed reports and introduced new handicap record cards. A computerized handicapping system will be used this year. plans for a May 12 luncheon and three coffee-group days were discussed with Al Szirmae as coordinator and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McCray as local chairs. A household hint suggests flavoring a mustard sauce or salad dressing by mixing dry mustard with mild prepared mustard.

Andrew Lindstrom celebrated his seventh birthday with a circus themed party at his parents home in R D 1 Corry. The event featured a clown cake by Paul Kraft, games won by several guests, and gifts. attendees included Sandra Lindstrom and Wil Procter. Bruce Marks named new artistic director of Ballet West in Salt Lake City, to share duties with William F. Christensen starting June 1, after dancing with the Royal Danish Ballet and choreographing two ballets for that company.
