Corry Man Paroled After Fraud Charge
L J Healy of Corry Pa charged with fraudulent conversion of money from L Tenebaum of 167 H 21st street was paroled by Judge William R Hirt on probation to repay and make restitution. Tenebaum testified Healy would be kept employed and noted past drunken incidents. If restitution is not made or good behavior fails he faces four months at Allegheny Workhouse Pittsburgh.

Marvel Given 6 Month Term In Erie Case
Dr John B Marvel of 636 W 17th street pleaded guilty to practicing medicine and surgery without a license and was fined 600 plus court costs. He received six months in the Erie county jail after failing to pay. Authorities arrested him on complaints from several patients and found a medical kit and surgical tools in his office. He also faced assault charges from his wife. those sentences had not yet been imposed.
