County Plans Notes to Meet Relief Needs
County Commissioner Rollo McCray proposed issuing short term non interest notes to pay poor board obligations. The notes would be signed by three commissioners and used by the Kile Poor Board to cover debts, payable after July 15 when taxes begin. The plan seeks to raise 874000 while acknowledging a larger needed appropriation.
