Charges Bribery In Court Rearing Case
In Butler County court yesterday Judge Calhresth heard remonstrances against Simeon Nixon of Butler and Hows Nhvon of Lyndora over alleged bribery. Witness Joseph Franklin said he was offered $60 to leave the courtroom. District Attorney Troutman asked officers to arrest the alleged briber if possible. Franklin gave a description of the stranger Brankin sword. Detectives were engaged in the case.
