Transfer Motor Fund Attacked in Harrisburg
Pennsylvania Motor Federation Secretary Richard B Maxwell warned lawmakers against diverting 19 million to 42 million dollars of motor fund money to municipalities. He argued every dollar is needed for highway building and maintenance and cautioned that shifting funds would postpone construction, leaving the state's roads lagging a decade behind modern standards.
