Ripley Auto Crash Victim Identified as Cleveland Worker
Kenneth Lynch, 29, of 1700 Hillville Ave, Cleveland, a Mine 30-A machine shop employee for Cleveland/Hobbing Machine Co, was killed when his eastbound car collided head on with a westbound Buffalo-Cleveland Greyhound bus one mile west of Ripley Route 20. Deputy Medical Examiner Crandall ruled Lynch to blame for falling asleep. the bus driver, R. B. Walker, was held blameless and the couple passengers survived with minor injuries. Lynch’s wife travels from Westfield, N Y to verify the body.

Police Probe Report Kidnapped Girl Near Schaal Avenue
Mrs Merle Mose of 1819 Prospective witnessed a girl abducted by three men in a touring car at 1140 p m Wednesday near Schaal avenue and Buffalo road. Police investigate to identify the girl and seek clues as the car headed east past Pear street. The witness described a five foot one inch girl in light colored apparel and said the kidnap was witnessed from her front room.
