Three Oil City men fined for shooting at deer
Pleasantville Justice Mary Nosko ordered Robert W. Delong James L. Winger and Charles F. Crissman Jr all of Oil City to pay 825 in fines plus costs after pleading guilty to shooting at a deer in Cornplanter Township on May 16. They held a spotlight from a vehicle while a member of the party fired the shot. Crissman faced an extra 25 fine for possessing a loaded rifle in the vehicle. The rifle and spotlight were forfeited and all face possible hunting license loss for three years.

Beach 18 Seneca and passengers John Beach 25 Seneca and William Sharp 15 Oil City were hospitalized with injuries. Tammy Beach 1 escaped injury. Coroner Hutchinson said Huff died at the scene.
