Auto Accident at Wattsburg causes serious injuries
Reports from Wattsburg state a car driven by Clarence Haskell of Wesleyville ran off the road near a bridge and plunged over a culvert, the vehicle wrecked. Dr Perrie G Wood a long time Corry resident and prominent dentist died at his Park Street home Tuesday evening after months of ill health. Born January 15 1885 in Ellery New Jersey he studied in Elery Sinclairville and Philadelphia earning a DDS. He practiced in Corry since 1887, marrying twice and leaving five sons. An active Freemason church worker and Sunday school superintendent from 1893 to 1913 he was highly respected. Funeral plans are private with services at his home on Friday afternoon and interment at Pine Grove cemetery.
