New Theories In Single Murder Case Probed
Two sensational theories emerged on the gang murder of Alin Lingle in Chicago. One theory claims the killing aimed to oust Police Commissioner and Chief of Detectives by infighting with the Moran-Artem gang. The other suggests Lingle paid for failing to fix dog racing for Scarface Al Capone. The “clearing house” group did not endorse either theory. Investigations also show Lingle’s earnings from public officials and gangsters with a $65 weekly reporter’s wage and an income tax filing by Bever tins.
