Unreadable OCR Fragment Sparks Confusion Behind Names
An unclear OCR passage mentions Corry Venus, Kamp, Perry Gatt and other fragments. The text appears garbled with missing context, multiple typos, and broken phrases, leaving characters, places, and events only fragmentarily identifiable. No coherent incident or report can be established from the readable bits.
Fragmentary note hints at ongoing wait and restlessness
A fragmentary line mentions being and waiting, with unclear context. The readable words point to a state of anticipation or unease rather than a concrete event or outcome. Further context is needed to identify people, places, or actions involved.
Trimming on Smart Frocks In Tumbled OCR Fragment
Fragmentary OCR text describes trimming techniques on decorative fabrics and perforations. It mentions front and back arrangement, moulder adjustments, weaving patterns, and notched inlets. Specific names or clear events are unreadable, but the fragment hints at fashion or textile processing details without a coherent narrative.

French Creek Foundry Burns In Bad Fire At Franklin
A major blaze gutted the French Creek Foundry Company plant at the upper Third ward in Franklin on Saturday evening. Fire reached the building before a water stream could reach it due to distance from a fire plug, causing extensive damage estimated around $50,000. Superintendent L. Brown and foreman Ramey reported the structure was in largely ruined condition as workers in the core department barely escaped. A local resident, Waller Yuoy, reported flames seen from the building rear, but fire crews arrived late, and the building collapsed, ending any chance to save the ironworks plants. The owners have not yet answered whether insurance or losses will affect operations.
