Judge orders 2 to stand trial in 1950 assault case
Judge Burton Haub ruled two Unit 0 Electrical Workers officers Nelson and Kester must stand trial for alleged assault on William Wotocheck and John O'Hara. The case stems from an October 19, 1950 intra union dispute. The men claimed they were denied a jury trial but the judge said a jury request must be made at arraignment to avoid delays.
