Hitler Forced to Join Up in Berlin Upset
Washington reports say the German army has seized control of war policy from the Nazi party and embarked on a drive resembling Genghis Khan. The plan targets conquest from the Amur to the Danube, with aims to topple the Soviet regime and replace it with puppet states in Ukraine and the Baltics as fear grows over a possible German or Japanese victory in Asiatic Russia.

Conference on Crossings Ends in Failure
A cross town negotiation between Mayo Hepler and Cory Shy Comite and city officials and railroad representatives failed to reach an agreement on crossing protections at Center street First avenue and West Wayne street. The plan offered 24 hour protection at Post avenue and Center steel with lights at West Wayne while the railroads pressed 21 hour protection at Center and lights only at Pitst avenue and Wayne. The dispute now goes to the state Public Utilities Commission for decision as both sides compile traffic data. The city highlighted high freight speeds near the Erie curve east of the station and the Erie line admitted the 45 mile regulation. The mayor warned trains could be held to twenty miles if necessary, risking further crossing issues.
